Adhyaatma Ramayana is Lord Shiva's narration to his consort Parvati of the greatness of Lord Rama. In response to Bhoo Devi's lament over the growing grossness engulfing society, Shiva reveals that Lord Vishnu promised to take avatar as Rama — the entire story unfolding as a pre-destined Leela Natanam (divine play).

Sharane ‘Dhupada Goggavve’

One of the lesser-known 12th-century Shivasharanas, Dhupada Goggavve was born in the village of Avaluru, Kerala, to devout Shiva worshippers. Her devotion deepened into a spiritual love that led her to reject worldly marriage in favour of a spiritual union.
